Eloise lives at the Plaza Hotel. And today, there is an Eloise Cafe that is named for her. Lot of pink, right? The setting at the Plaza could not be nicer. The Plaza is near Central Park, and there are many other stories about that park. Some of them are on Lit GPS.
Here is the Plaza Hotel all lit up at night. Can you imagine living here? Eloise was a michievous little girl, and she enjoyed living at the Plaza. She got into a little bit of trouble there, and she is fun to read about. The pictures in the book are fun to look at too.
You can eat at the Eloise Cafe link to eloise cafe if you like. It's kind of expensive, but they do have nice snacks and desserts. If you don't want to eat there, you can still see the Plaza Hotel. Right across the street is Grand Army Plaza, at Fifth Avenue and Central Park South. There is a fountain there and you have a good view of the hotel. If you go to the Plaza, you should be sure to visit Central Park too. There is more information on the Polarity Bear page.
